Luka Gotsiridze

I am an artist, activist and researcher from Batumi, Georgia. Currently based in Miami, FL.

To break down the ‘artist’ and ‘researcher’ labels: I am an observer & storyteller; occasionally, a writer and a multimedia & performance artist. Circumstantially, a Tarot reader and a Mafia Night social game host among friends.

I am interested in exploring how emotional and broadly, somatic awareness can enhance meaningful connections with ourselves and others; what it means to be a human in various societal contexts; our relationship to land, healing and equity; interactions of cultural, gender and national identities; language, tech, ancestry and spirituality.

…WHILE (and here the ‘activist’ part comes in) also examining and advocating against normalized systems of oppression and violence, namely systemic and social discrimination, prejudice, capitalism, and imperialism.
