Water Cooler Conversation Series // Digital

Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, I collaborated with various departments at the American University in Bulgaria and the Austrian Economics Center to curate the digital Water Cooler Conversation Series.

In this series, experts from political science, psychology, history, business, law, and tech engaged in conversations during the initial days of the pandemic and offered insights into our collective experience with COVID-19 and its impact across these industries.

Storytelling Night // Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria & online

I curated Storytelling Night as an in-person event twice at the Dr. Carl Djerassi Theater Hall in Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria. Participants shared non-fiction stories within a 15-minute timeframe, utilizing mediums such as written and spoken word, performance, and music.

At the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, I collaborated with Laura Kelly, a Journalism professor at the American University in Bulgaria, to curate two similar digital events titled Storytelling & Poetry Night.

Readers’ & Critics’ Club // Batumi, Georgia

The Readers’ and Critics’ Club events in Batumi, Georgia, featured curated winter and summer camps, along with award ceremonies.

These gatherings for high school and younger students took place at various locations such as Batumi Puppet Theatre, University of Arts, Botanical Garden, ‘Old Boulevard,’ Public Library, and cafe-museums.

The curated experiences included literature and film discussions, performance series, and digital & in-person campaigns for student and community cohesion.
