Reclaim is an exploration of my relationship with my body and the role of a body in art, history-making, as a tool, as a statement, and as a source of power. It delves into the idea of the body as more than a vessel but a living being with its own agency. It also explores deep-seated norms that impact emotional expression based on gender and questions ingrained mantras and unlearns societal expectations. Reclaim reclaims the significance of a body, specifically in queer communities where touch and intimacy become a form of rebellion against taboos, historically forced silences, and disregard.

In the form of a silent disco, Inner Rave invites audiences to embody the artist’s quest for self-identification in his conservative family.
